Your mission
In this role, you will support the physical health and welfare of pupils across the school, promoting a healthy school environment and ensuring effective first aid provision.
The successful candidate will be a calm, capable and friendly presence – someone who can deliver practical care with efficiency, empathy and professionalism. Based in the school office, you will also play a valuable role in supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the wider administrative team.
Main Responsibilities
•Lead the delivery of physical first aid across the school, including events and activities.
• Maintain and monitor medical kits and first aid provision to ensure compliance.
• Communicate with parents and external medical providers regarding pupil health.
• Support the organization of medical risk assessments and first aid plans for school trips.
• Promote healthy lifestyles through education, initiatives and awareness campaigns.
• Contribute to training and development, ensuring staff have the skills and confidence to manage minor medical issues.
• Maintain accurate records in line with school policy and safeguarding expectations.
Your profile
• Experience working in a health, medical or first aid role.
• First aid qualification (required); additional health-related training such as pediatric first aid (desirable).
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Fluent in English (required); intermediate or better command of German (desirable).
• Comfortable working with children and young people and committed to safeguarding.
